Joseph V. Madden
Director of Leasing

Mr. Madden is the first “in-house” director of leasing at Sudberry Properties and brings more than 11 years of industry experience. He serves as the firms leasing point-person in the general retail community and is responsible for all aspects of the leasing process on each of Sudberry Properties new Town Center developments.

He currently oversees the development leasing efforts for The Marketplace at Santee, Village Walk at EastLake, The Gateway, Quarry Falls and The Watermark.

Joe’s previous real estate experience includes roles in center management, operational and development leasing for a variety of properties. He has served as a leasing executive at The Westfield Corporation, Jones Lang LaSalle and Poag & McEwen Lifestyle Centers. Recent leasing assignments include projects in Houston, Texas, Corona, California, Manteca, California as well as several projects here in San Diego.

He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and has served on the board of directors for various organizations including the San Diego North Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Palomar Family YMCA. Joe received a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science from San Diego State University (SDSU)in 1995.
