Two Neighborhoods at Civita Earn Top Honors for Architecture for Shea Homes San Diego

February 4, 2015

Architecture at Civita continued to gain national acclaim during January’s International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas.  Two separate awards ceremonies recognized Shea Homes San Diego for excellence in architecture at the company’s Lucent and Frame & Focus neighborhoods.

During the 35th annual National Sales and Marketing awards (“The Nationals”), Shea was honored with a Gold Award for the 1,985-square-foot Frame Plan 4, the highest award in the category of Best Architectural Design of an Attached Home. A companion neighborhood in Civita, Lucent, was also recognized with a Silver Award in this same category.

Frame is one of two individual neighborhoods on one parcel, known as Frame & Focus. The name refers to the way the community wraps around the perimeter of the site, literally “framing” the interior of the project where Shea is also building the Focus series. Designed by Woodley Architectural Group, Frame features motor court homes with two-car garages, patios and private rear yards for children, pets or dining.
