SAN DIEGO – Sudberry Properties, one of the leading commercial developers in Southern California, has announced the opening of a 44,000 square foot Stater Bros. Market located in the Canyon Hills Marketplace in Lake Elsinore, California. The grand opening took place on Wednesday, July 22, 2009. The store opened for business at 9:00 a.m.

"We are pleased to work with Stater Bros. in the opening of one of the most environmentally friendly supermarkets constructed in the region," said Colton Sudberry, president of Sudberry Properties.

Energy-friendly amenities include energy efficient skylights that incorporate the natural daylight. The supermarket also features a full-service meat, seafood, bakery, floral, produce, pharmacy and delicatessen department and is equipped with energy efficient refrigeration systems that reduce carbon dioxide emissions.

In celebration of the grand opening, Stater Bros. made donations to the Lake Elsinore Police Department for their Explorer's Program and to the Elsinore High School Tiger Pride Marching Band, which performed at the ribbon cutting ceremony. Additionally, Stater Bros. Charities presented a donation to the Lake Elsinore Library for their Children's program.

Other major tenants in the Sudberry Properties’ Canyon Hills Marketplace include CVS, Starbucks, Bank of America, Jack In The Box, Carl’s Jr., Family Tires, Papa John’s Pizza, Subway, Fantastic Sam's, Verizon and over 20 other shops.
