Christine Evans Promoted to Chief Operating Officer of Sudberry Properties, Inc.

Christine Evans, SCSM, has been promoted to chief operating officer of Sudberry Properties, Inc., announced Thomas Sudberry, Jr., president of the San Diego-based real estate development and asset management firm.
In her new position, Evans is charged with overseeing the operations, accounting, marketing, and leasing of the firm's approximately two million square feet of retail and industrial properties throughout San Diego County. She joined Sudberry Properties in 1992 as director of management services and business development. In 1995, she was promoted to vice president of operations.
Evans possesses more than 20 years of experience in commercial property marketing and management. Prior to joining Sudberry Properties, she served seven years as vice president/principal of Larry L. Thomas & Associates, Inc., a fee-property management company specializing in strip and community centers.
Previous experience includes three years as director of marketing for Charter Oak Development, where she produced brochures and coordinated grand opening campaigns and ground-breaking events; and three years as marketing director for the Price Company.
Evans attended (which is now known as) the University of East London, United Kingdom. She holds several certificates from the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), including Senior Certified Shopping Center Manager. Evans also holds a California Real Estate License and an Alternative Dispute Resolution Certificate, which she earned from San Diego State University in 2000.
Other professional memberships include the Mission Valley Unified Planning Group, the Program Committee for the San Diego Chapter of ICSC, and the Del Mar Rotary Club.
Born and raised in London, Evans currently resides in East San Diego County, where she and her husband, David, own an avocado orchard. They have three grown children. In her leisure time, she enjoys cooking and baseball.
