Construction Begun on EastLake Village Marketplace.

San Diego-based developer Sudberry Properties Inc. has started construction on EastLake Village Marketplace, a 410,000-square-foot shopping center in Eastlake, a master-planned community in eastern Chula Vista.

The center will be anchored by a 136,393-square-foot Target store and a 165,782-squarefoot Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse, with an additional 110,000 square feet of shops, restaurants and office space.

The architect is San Diego-based Fehlman LaBarre and the general contractor is Phoenix-based Sundt Construction Inc. Mike Seiber and Stewart Keith of Flocke & Avoyer Commercial Real Estate are handling the leasing.
