Matt Croft, who joined Sudberry Properties in 2008, is responsible for managing the development, construction, and residential leasing of Sudberry Properties’ multifamily and mixed use communities. He oversees the project team, including architects, engineers, interior and landscape designers, contractors and leasing and property management professionals. He recently completed the 612-unit West Park apartment community in Civita, a luxuriously appointed midrise wrap style project with a variety of resort-style amenities. West Park was recognized as the 2016 “Attached Community of the Year” by the San Diego Building Industry Association (BIA). It was also honored at the Pacific Coast Builders conference in the “Best Multifamily Housing Community” and “Best Residential Housing Project of the Year” categories. For Sudberry Croft previously managed the development, construction, and leasing of Circa 37, an award-winning 306-unit luxury apartment community in Civita that incorporates the latest in design, technology, and green construction practices. His success at Civita earned him the 2014 “Project Manager of the Year” award from the BIA of San Diego. Prior to Sudberry, Croft’s real estate and construction experience included taking on various roles for The Corky McMillin Companies, Glacier Drilling LLC, of Durham, Connecticut, and Winn Development of Boston. He was involved in all aspects of the development and construction process including project design, budgeting, scheduling, overseeing consultants and contractors, and coordination with public officials and vendors. Croft has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Dual Concentration in Entrepreneurship and Marketing) from Boston’s Northeastern University. He is associated with the BIA of San Diego and the Urban Land Institute.
