Civita Park Moving Toward the Finish Line

Construction of Civita Park is proceeding beautifully. A recent hardhat tour of the park showed great progress. Mark Radelow, vice president/senior project manager for Sudberry Properties reports that construction of all of the hardscape (walkways, plazas, basketball halfcourt, picnic area, amphitheater seating, etc.) is complete. The top for the amphitheater’s stage has been delivered and will be installed soon. Tables and furniture are positioned under Civita Park’s unique and (eventually) vine-covered shade structures. The landscaping team has started planting in some areas of the park. In spite of the weather, dozens of rose bushes are in bloom. This week’s rain will undoubtedly affect the landscaping schedule, but the park is set to open in late spring/early summer.
