Sudberry Properties Breaks Ground on The Hub at Scripps Ranch

The 9.5-acre mixed-use development at the gateway to Scripps Ranch

Will include 260 luxury apartments and 10,700 square feet of retail space

Construction has commenced at Sudberry Properties’ new redevelopment project, The Hub at Scripps Ranch, located on Carroll Canyon Road, just east of Interstate 15. The project will feature 260 luxury apartments, first-class amenities, restaurants and retailers.

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Sudberry Properties has commenced construction on The Hub at Scripps Ranch, a mixed-use redevelopment project on 9.52 acres, located at the gateway to Scripps Ranch at 9850 Carroll Canyon Rd., just east of Interstate 15. The Hub will feature 260 luxury apartments with plentiful amenities and approximately 11,000 square feet of retail/restaurant space. The Hub at Scripps Ranch is anticipated to open in phases, with the first apartments and commercial spaces available for occupancy in the fourth quarter of 2020.

Colton Sudberry, president of Sudberry Properties, which has developed approximately 12.6 million square feet of commercial and residential property with a market value exceeding $2.5 billion, said The Hub will include five four-story garden-style residential buildings, a leasing center, a 2,053-square-foot gym, a lounge, a terrace overlooking a beautifully landscaped pool area and high visibility locations for restaurants and retailers.

Beautifully appointed apartments will feature one to three bedrooms and range from 614 to 1,391 square feet. Interior amenities include stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, wood-style flooring and in-unit washers and dryers.

Sudberry Properties’ development team includes MVE Architecture, Reylenn Construction Company, Inc., general contractor, Pasco Laret Suiter & Associates (PLSA), civil engineering and land planning, GroundLevel Landscape Architecture, and Design Tec, Inc., interior design. Matt Mosser of Retail Insite is responsible for leasing.

The Hubb at Scripps Ranch is situated within walking distance of the Scripps Ranch Business Center and such employers as Teledyne API, National University, and Gamma Scientific.
