Civita honored as the san diego model for humanly Scaled, Mid-Rise neighborhood.

Civita was celebrated in a Times of San Diego commentary by Michael J. Stepner, former city of San Diego Architect, and Mary Lydon, a land-use authority.

The article praised the historic pedestrian-friendly city planning in Barcelona and Paris, and stated, “Here in San Diego, the award-winning, 230-acre Civita urban village in Mission Valley stands in as our local model.”

It noted the community’s street life, services, and available transit options, and included a photograph of Civita Park. Read the full article here.
